Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Click the 'Register' button in the top right corner of the homepage. You'll need to provide your email address, create a password, and enter your professional details. Once registered, you'll receive a confirmation email to verify your account.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Click 'Sign In' and then select 'Forgot password?' on the login page. Enter your email address and we'll send you instructions to reset your password. Check your spam folder if you don't receive the email within a few minutes.
Is there a cost to use the platform?
Registration for the platform is free. Individual course pricing varies - some courses are complimentary while others require payment. Course fees are clearly displayed on each course page before enrollment.
Courses & CPD
How do I enroll in a course?
Browse the course catalog, select a course you're interested in, and click 'Enroll' on the course page. If the course requires payment, you'll be directed to complete the payment process before gaining access.
How are CPD hours calculated?
CPD hours are based on the estimated time required to complete each course, including lectures, readings, activities, and assessments. The CPD hours for each course are clearly stated in the course description and are awarded upon successful completion.
Are the courses GDC-compliant for CPD requirements?
Yes, our courses are designed to meet GDC CPD requirements for UK dental professionals. Each course specifies the subject areas and development outcomes it addresses. You are responsible for maintaining your own CPD records and determining how courses fit your personal development plan.
How do I access my certificates?
Once you complete a course, your certificate is automatically generated and available in your account dashboard. You can download and print certificates at any time. Certificates include the course name, completion date, and CPD hours awarded.
Can I access courses after completion?
Yes! You maintain access to completed courses for reference and review. You can revisit course materials, but you cannot retake assessments once completed unless the course specifically allows it.

The videos won't play. What should I do?
First, check your internet connection and try refreshing the page. Ensure your browser allows video playback and isn't blocking content. If problems persist, try a different browser or clear your browser cache. Contact support if the issue continues.
I'm having trouble submitting an assessment. What should I do?
Ensure you've answered all required questions before submitting. Check your internet connection is stable. If you continue experiencing issues, contact our support team with details about the specific assessment and any error messages you're seeing.
Account Management
How do I update my profile information?
Sign in to your account and click on your name in the top right corner. Select 'Account Settings' from the dropdown menu. Here you can update your email, password, professional details, and communication preferences.
Can I change my email address?
Yes, you can update your email address in your Account Settings. You'll need to verify the new email address before the change takes effect. Note that you'll use the new email for future logins.
How do I delete my account?
If you wish to delete your account, please contact our support team at
dental.cpd@liverpool.ac.uk.
Note that account deletion is permanent and you will lose access to your course history and certificates.
